 “I like this market! It’s a small specialty shop with exclusively Japanese products. Always clean, always organized, and never overly scented. The produce is hit or miss—cilantro was limp, but cherry tomatoes were vibrant. Prices can be a shock, especially for imported dressings and sauces.

The fresh food section was pretty bare when I visited, though I’m not sure I’d buy sushi here anyway. I love their chocolate bourbon biscuits—crisp and very chocolatey—as well as their savory rice crackers. I picked up wasabi ones this time. They carry plenty of ready-to-drink coffees and teas; my favorite is Sangaria Royal Milk Tea, lightly sweet and made with simple ingredients.

This plaza is quiet and tucked away, but worth the stop if you like browsing international markets. Support local!”
