Market Place Antiques & Collectibles is a sprawling, delightfully dusty treasure hunt tucked into Spring Branch—a warehouse-style maze of booths, vendors, and relics from eras long gone. Whether you're a seasoned antiquer or simply someone who appreciates a stroll through history, this spot offers a nostalgic and eclectic way to spend a weekend afternoon. With items ranging from ornate grandfather clocks to delicate teacup sets, the marketplace leans into its vintage charm and invites you to slow down, browse, and imagine the stories behind each piece.
What You’ll Find
Grandfather clocks, old-world vases, oil paintings
Vintage tea sets and post-Victorian–style decor
Antique wooden furniture, including ottomans and dresser cabinets
Vendor booths with personable sellers and curated finds
The space is dusty, eccentric, and full of personality—exactly what you’d expect from a longstanding antique hub. Even if you don’t buy anything, the experience itself is worth the visit.
Review
Sara I. (Oct 25, 2021):
“Decent and quite a large marketplace to explore on a random weekend afternoon. I’m not an ‘antiquer,’ but it’s nice to visit old spots like this that take you down memory lane—albeit many of the items here are way before my time. They have super old grandfather clocks, vases, paintings, etc., from eras gone by. It’s dusty and eccentric as you sprawl through the warehouse.
There are a few vendors with their own little setups, and many are talkative—ready to suggest items that might appeal to you. I haven’t bought anything yet, but the wooden furniture caught my eye, especially the ottoman tables and dresser cabinets. The vintage teacup sets were dainty and charming as well.
Many items aren’t things you particularly need, but it’s still lovely to appreciate vintage craftsmanship—things were built to last back then. I recommend visiting on a cozy weekend afternoon. They’re only open Fri–Sun anyway. Rain or shine, most likely.”
