Foam Coffee House brings a fun and unexpected pairing to Gulfton: a neighborhood café built right beside a car wash. While your car gets a shine, you can settle inside for a warm drink surrounded by marble textures, teal accents, and local artwork. The pastry selection is limited, but the coffee menu is straightforward and crafted with care—making it a casual, low-key stop for cappuccino lovers and locals passing through.
What to Order
Cappuccino – Frothy top, smooth body, and nicely balanced flavor.
Morningstar Vegan Donut – A local treat when available.
Hot Latte – A safe, simple choice from their classic menu.
Review
Sara I. (Feb 28, 2019):
“Liking the concept of Foam Coffee House… your vehicle can get a good scrub-a-dub-dub while you sip on a frothy beverage. A car wash is present within the small lot. I haven't used their car wash service as this review is solely based on the cafe.
Upon entering, you'll notice a few works of art, marbled walls, and a brightly colored teal wall. Pastries are far and few… mostly sad looking. They do carry a few Morningstar donuts, which happen to be local and vegan.
The menu is classic and simple—coffee and tea beverages. I opted for a cappuccino, my default these days. A good cappuccino must have a nice frothy top yet enough substantial liquid to call it a beverage. It was nicely prepared and had a good flavor to it. Warm and smooth.
Will I be back to try a few other drinks? Most definitely. But… just one word of advice: please get rid of that strange smell that permeates deep within the cafe. When I enter a coffee house, I'd like for it to be surrounded by the warm scent of coffee beans. Even the smell of a car wash would do at this point. But you get the message…”
