"My husband, toddler, a good friend, and I enjoyed a cozy Thursday evening dinner at KIMOTO Premium Sushi All You Can Eat in Houston.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term, AYCE stands for “All You Can Eat,” and KIMOTO offers an extensive menu that allows guests to sample a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, appetizers, hot dishes, and desserts throughout the meal.

From the moment we walked in, the large restaurant felt vibrant yet inviting. The dark-lit dining room, accented by small floating Japanese-style lamps, created a cozy atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxed weekday evening.

One item that always stands out to me is their chicken fried rice. It has a nice char from the wok, plenty of flavor, and is one of those dishes that appeals to both adults and little ones alike. This is an item that my toddler always enjoys eating and it makes for the perfect item to share around the table.

Among my favorite sushi selections were the Baked Salmon Roll, Houston Roll, and Shibuya Crossing Roll. The Baked Salmon Roll was warm, creamy, and comforting, while the Houston Roll and Shibuya Crossing Roll offered plenty of flavor, spice and variety. I also enjoyed the jalapeño poppers, which had a satisfying tempura crunch and made for a great starter.

Beyond the sushi, we tried the beef bulgogi, a classic Korean beef dish served sizzling on a hot plate. The beef was savory with a slightly sticky glaze that made it a nice complement to the meal.

To accompany dinner, I ordered the Lychee Delight mocktail, a refreshing and bubbly drink with delicate floral notes and a hint of rose. It was light, fragrant, and paired wonderfully with the meal.

For dessert, I finished with their green tea ice cream, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect sweet ending after enjoying so many savory dishes.
