“I finally had the chance to try out Fix Coffeebar on a rainy mid-week afternoon. Parking is far too few in this part of town—the plaza was packed, and I ended up parking on a corner street, mud everywhere. But alas, I made my trek into the world of caffeine.

Upon entering, you’ll notice the unique layout: warm string lights, wood elements, and a large patterned wood frame against the main wall. Though small, the café is arranged well, with plenty of tables and space for all the students and laptop workers buzzing around on a mid-afternoon weekday.

I was eager to try the birthday cake latte, only to learn it’s only served in July for the café’s anniversary—perfect for my own birthday month anyway. Instead, I opted for the honey lavender latte and was incredibly impressed. I expected the lavender to overpower the honey, but instead they danced together and created a wonderful taste. Creamy, smooth, and not acidic at all.

A few other unique flavors were listed for the winter season. FIX seems to rotate and experiment throughout the year, crafting creative flavor profiles. You can tell this place is passionate about the art + science behind their beverages. Warm, chill vibes, and a friendly barista made the visit even better. Looking forward to returning.”
