What appears from the outside to be just a coffee bean retailer is actually a cozy sit-down spot—with an unexpected twist: it’s directly connected to Kolache Factory. That means fresh local coffee and warm kolaches in one convenient stop.

Guests can order their drink at the counter, turn around, and pick up kolaches from the adjoining side—a delightful setup for breakfast lovers and snack seekers alike. The kolaches are consistently warm, generously filled, and flavorful, available in both savory and sweet varieties. Pair them with Coffee Mill’s smooth Katz Coffee beverages—locally roasted and wonderfully aromatic—and you’ve got a simple yet satisfying experience

“I like this spot! It's a bit of a hole in the wall. It's super quick to pass by and you can easily miss it. All these years I thought this place only sold coffee beans but it's actually a sit down cafe. What's unique about Coffee Mill is that it's connected with Kolache Factory. You can order coffee right up at the corner, then turn around, and order kolaches from the other side of the cafe.

Kolaches are many in flavor and are filling in size and always warm. Service is good and they always warm up the kolaches for customers. My favorite is the chicken enchilada kolache as well as the spinach kolache. Both look small in size but they're actually packed with filling and flavor. I've never had any products from any other kolache factory, so I can't compare... But I like the selection this location has.

These days I adore their iced caffe latte. It's creamy, fragrant and light. It's not like those iced coffees that are super strong and bitter in flavor. I ask them to make it half sweet with vanilla and it's perfect in flavor. They use Katz coffee here and the beans are local which is something I always support. Go for the local!

So glad to have this spot close by within the Galleria area to grab a snack and some type of coffee. If you visit earlier in the day, you'll get a better selection of their baked goods. They also serve up cream cheese kolaches, sweet fruit kolaches and cinnamon rolls. Will revisit when needing an iced caffe latte and a bite to eat in this heat. Until next time!”
