Their matcha latte, sweetened with cardamom syrup, is an unexpected dream pairing: floral, earthy, warm, and beautifully balanced. Pastries like the blueberry coconut scone are tender, buttery, and freshly baked, perfect alongside morning drinks. For heartier appetites, Cedar Coffee offers flavorful sandwiches and wraps, including a standout Thai-style vegetarian wrap filled with curried veggies, peanut sauce, and toasted lavash.

“This place was awesome! All huddled and cuddled within a quiet corner of Two Harbors. I love that city and it was pretty neat finding this coffee shoppe on a whim whilst traveling through the north shores.

Coffee was great as well as their matcha latte. I've been digging warm matcha latte and asked for it to be sweetened with cardamom syrup. Absolutely phenomenal. Cardamom pairs sooo well with matcha — what a matcha made in sight! No pun intended.

Everything is practically made in house here, including their house made syrups, baked goods and savory food items. I loved their in house made scone... warm, buttery and tender. They had a few scone selections to choose from, but we went for the blueberry coconut scone. Tasty and paired well with our beverages.

We were also hungry and grabbed their chicken sandwich as well as their Thai style wrap. The wrap consisted of curried veggies, spicy Thai style peanut sauce wrapped up in a toasted lavash wrap bread. Yum. The roasted veggies had an Indian style flavor and paired well with the peanut sauce tucked in — very fusion style wrap. It was nice to eat a flavorful vegetarian lunch item that day, whilst traveling through the city.

Indoors seating was plentiful but it was nice to sit outside in their backyard, immersed within a grove of many trees. Weather was refreshing in regards to MN style summers and a perfect little spot to visit before venturing out to a hike.

I recommend Cedar Coffee if in the Two Harbors area. It's lively and adds a splash of coffee color before journeying towards your next adventure. Until next time!”
