A dreamy, candy-land-meets-Paris patisserie nestled inside the Post Oak Hotel, Bouchée Patisserie is a visual and culinary escape. Warm lights, elegant décor, and soft Parisian music create an atmosphere that feels transported straight from France—perfect for brunch dates, out-of-town guests, or an indulgent post-Galleria treat. From flaky croissants to citrus-kissed madeleines, this pâtisserie balances whimsy with refined craftsmanship.
What to Order
Almond Croissant – Ultra buttery, crispy, warm, deeply satisfying.
Madeleine – Spongy, citrusy, classic, and perfect for dunking.
Hot Chocolate – Foamy, cozy, and a gentle pairing for pastries.

“Dream land… candy land… a whimsical pastry boutique of sorts. Walk in at anytime and you'll be fascinated upon the selection of tempting treats. Bouchee Patisserie is a lovely cafe to bring family, friends and out of town guests. Or maybe even a boujie date night? If that's your thing.
I recommend visiting on the weekend after having brunch in the city & dropping by for sweets. Bouchee is tucked within the inner loop and nearby to the Houston Galleria—perfect area to take a stroll or check out the Post Oak Hotel which is connected to the cafe. Even visiting at night is such a delight with all the vivid colors glowing inside the pâtisserie.
The Parisian music transported my dining partner and I to France. Totally felt like we were elsewhere—in a good way. With so many items to choose from, we decided on the madeleine and almond croissant. Paired our pastries with a plain black coffee and hot chocolate. We found the drinks to be plain in taste—the hot chocolate was foamy, but not tall, dark, and handsome like my date. Guess he made up for it?
The hedonistic treats took center stage: the croissant was super buttery and crispy, and the madeleine spongy and citrusy. I can easily judge a cafe by its simple baked items… and this madeleine was one of the best I've had. Dunked into a warm beverage, such a delight. (One might remember Marcel Proust’s memoir In Search of Lost Time—storytime, y’all.)
Anyway… what are you waiting for? Grab any of the croissants—plain or almond—and make sure they heat it up for ya. Crunch factor sound on and relish in delight! Save me a little crumb in which I may encounter the warm memoir of Marcel Proust… Ciao.”
