“Ahh! I'm a big fan of sorbet… and this place totally satisfied my craving for all things sorbet related. Amorino serves authentic gelato, waffles, chocolates, coffee beverages, and even pound cakes and macarons. The shop was packed the night I visited—Christmas night—and luckily Amorino was open in this lively part of town. The River Oaks District plaza was glowing with lights and people wandering around.

Amorino has quite a selection of sorbets and gelato, with many of the fruit elements imported from various countries. I chose the smallest cup, which fits three flavors. Without hesitation, I picked the passionfruit, black currant, and raspberry—side by side. I’m so glad I chose them. They were crisp, tart, and full of fresh fruit flavor. Honestly, some of the best sorbet I've ever had!

I definitely want to revisit this cute little shoppe to try their dairy-based gelato—several chocolate flavors caught my eye. Now I understand why Amorino is popular worldwide. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth trying.”
