Yomie’s Rice X Yogurt brings a unique concept to Chinatown with its lineup of creamy, rice-based and yogurt-based beverages. These drinks are mellow, smooth, and lightly sweet—ideal after a spicy meal or when you’re craving something cooling and indulgent. The menu is playful and creative, though first-time visitors may find the ordering experience a bit unclear. Flavors lean mild and gentle rather than tart or punchy, making this a spot best suited for those who enjoy softer yogurt profiles.

Review
Sara I. (Feb 22, 2022):
“Service was super awkward, cold, and dry—just like the cutting winds outside that night. The drinks were okay: simple yogurt-based beverages that were creamy and mellow. I prefer sharper, tangier yogurt flavors, almost Mediterranean style, and theirs reminded me more of an Australian yogurt—light without any real zest. The dragon fruit didn’t shine through the yogurt at all, maybe because it wasn’t in season.
I did enjoy the yogurt and oats drink, though I wished it had more flavor. It wasn’t too sweet, which I appreciated since I asked for reduced sweetness. I was curious if fruit could be added to the oat drink—definitely a missed opportunity! The menu wasn’t explained to me, adding to the awkwardness.
These cold yogurt drinks are great after a spicy meal; the lactic base totally cuts the acid reflux. I couldn’t finish my drink and refrigerated the rest, thinking it might turn into overnight oats. Nope—the yogurt separated and tasted unpleasant the next day. Oops! Will I return? Maybe. But the service really needs improvement.”
