“I’m normally not a fan of monster-like donuts—the custom ones loaded with crazy ingredients. Fun to look at, creative even, but taste-wise? Meh. I’m a simple donut gal. Give me a chocolate-glazed, a sprinkle donut, or a soft cinnamon twist and I’m happy.

The cinnamon twists here are my absolute favorite—soft, stretchy, yeast-like, and just lightly glazed. The Homer donut with pink frosting and sprinkles is another sweet treat; the subtle strawberry flavor is cute and nostalgic. The custom French toast donut, though? Hit or miss. My recent trip was a total miss. The whipped cream melted instantly, and the whole thing tasted overwhelmingly of batter—soggy and unimpressive. Their Instagram photos look incredible, so it’s disappointing when the real thing doesn’t match.

On a brighter note, the lemon jelly donut was yummy, and the coffee was fresh, hot, and strong. They offer savory items like fusion tacos, sandwiches, kolaches, and croissants—honestly, I think their savory creativity fares better than their sweet experiments.

This spot is still a fun little pick-me-up in the middle of sleepy Richmond. A great place for a classic donut and coffee. Support local, enjoy something simple, and wash those hands. ;)”
