Service is completely non-existent at this late night spot. Its a Korean style bar/small restaurant serving up decent food with large prices yet large portions. It is sorely disappointing how bad the service is. I do believe this place has potential but there's a lackluster and 'i don't care' feeling to it. You won't even receive a menu upon seating, you'll receive it several minutes later when the waitress is free to hand it to you. Upon ordering your meal, be prepared to receive it quite late. All food items come out at the same time - at least give customers their appetizers as they wait for an eternity for their main meal. I ordered the soft tofu soup which is typically served vegetarian unless you ask them to add meat (ie; chicken or pork). My tofu soup came with pork which was a complete disaster since the food arrived wrong and I knew it would take forever to make something new. I just simply swapped my meal with my friend. Appetizers were crisp and fresh, you can't mess up anything that is fried. The banchan here is always tasty and they serve items that you may not find at other spots. Their kimchi is spicy and pungent. Goes great with the stews (so long as they don't mess up the order). I have tried their seafood pancake in the past which was tasty as well. My standards have always been chill about this spot simply because it's just a chill bar semi restaurant environment. Overall the food isn't bad here, but they really should pay attention to their customers. Place is small and cramped. Could really hire another waiter to help take orders and to overall provide better service. Doubt I'll be back anytime soon. Unique little bar/food spot nonetheless.
What we tried
Sara tried the soft tofu soup. The visit exposed several shortcomings in execution, service, or consistency that outweighed the positives.
