Blue Willow Bookshop is a long-standing neighborhood bookstore known for its curated collections, author events, and cozy small-shop feel. While the space itself is charming and inviting, the customer experience can make or break a visit—and in this case, the atmosphere felt markedly uncomfortable.
Review
Sara I. (Nov 16, 2021):
“Unfriendly service. I walked inside the bookstore and the owner didn’t even acknowledge my presence—just a calculating stare. Someone walked in right after me and she greeted them immediately. The vibe was completely off: dry, apathetic, and unwelcoming. I will certainly not support a store that gives off that sort of presence. Good luck with your shoppe—perhaps consider being warm and friendly with all customers. This is probably my shortest review. Good riddance.”
