Sara's full firsthand review

Red Dessert Dive has such mouth watering and unique desserts! If only this little dessert spot was closer to me.. but maybe that's a good thing for my major sweet tooth. It was my first time visiting, so I decided on two delectable sweets - their chocolate chip cookie and brownie. I had already heard rave reviews about their desserts, so I knew that I made the right selection. Along with my cookie and brownie, I opted for the cafe au lait. I appreciated the kind service and they even asked if I wanted my cookie warmed up. Oh this cookie was to die for! The fact that they use valrhona chocolate says enough about their product. The chocolate chip cookie was meaty, gooey and full of rich butter and chocolate. The brownie was just as good as the chocolate chip cookie. Both desserts were so rich and flavorful. I ended up packing the rest home because I was more than satisfied. I loved the smooth cafe au lait as well. They use boomtown coffee beans here, so that was a plus.Overall, I'm looking forward to visiting again soon. I've heard great things about the cakes and bread pudding as well. They have scones and croissants too. Love how everything is made from scratch. Red Dessert delivers quality products. I can totally envision sipping on their hot chocolate and treating myself to some bread pudding once the weather cools down. Located in the Heights, its a nice sweet little spot, and its definitely worth the drive out to.
