Red Circle Ice Cream review

I came here one week ago with my friends after having dinner in the area. It's nice to finally have this dessert concept in Houston. There are plenty of ice cream shops with the same concept in Los Angeles. It's a unique dessert trend consisting of bubble waffles and churros which are all customizable. Even though I was full from dinner.. I wanted to try their ice cream. Menu is simple and I knew exactly what I wanted. Opted for soft serve which is one of my favorites. I enjoyed the frosty churro which consisted of vanilla soft serve and two cinnamon churros. The soft serve was creamy and very sweet. Maybe a bit too sweet for my liking. The texture and flavor wasn't bad, but I'd have to say that McDonald's makes a better soft serve. The churros were warm and crispy. They had a solid texture which complimented the soft serve nicely. You can order a cinnamon churro separately by itself. It had a good taste, so I might do that next time. There are a few additional toppings to choose from for the ice cream. I didn't opt for an extra topping on my soft serve. It would have been way too sweet. My friends enjoyed their dessert concoctions as well. I tried a piece of the bubble waffle from my friend and it had a nice and crisp texture. I prefer soft and eggy bubble waffles.. but in this case a crisp waffle would hold the ice cream better. All in all, we enjoyed our evening. Red Circle has great customer service and decent desserts. They close late which is also a bonus. Its a nice spot to visit with friends or family. I'll definitely try something new when I visit next time.
