Sara's full firsthand review

I finally had a chance to eat back at Mission Burrito after almost a year! I was in the mood for a burrito, it had been several months since I had dropped by here.. I`m SO glad that I opted for a burrito rather than a bowl! The fact that Mission Burrito has a variety of selection keeps this place first in mind when I am craving a burrito. There are several different tortillas you can select from: flour, wheat, tomato, or spinach. I chose the spinach tortilla with cilantro rice, shrimp, beans, vegetables, sour cream, and guacamole. I love how their are several different salsas to pick from. I usually pick two salsas which ends up giving my burrito a spicy and zesty kick. I also had corn in my burrito which gave a mellow sweet taste mixed in with the spicy savoury-ness. It paired so well! The grilled shrimp were delicious! Fresh, plump, and perfectly seasoned. I also decided on the guacamole (extra charge) which was flavourful and savoury. My burrito was huge but quite satisfying! They also have these mega-sized chocolate chip cookies in front of the cashier counter. I think I have my eye on them & will definitely try them next time. Cant go wrong with a huge cookie.. Despite the calorie and carbohydrate bomb that Mission Burrito throws at you, I recommend coming by once in awhile when you are really in the mood for this place. Its a casual spot which is great when hanging out with friends.
