Sara's full firsthand review

This is a fairly new and quaint Philipino cafe in the Dulles area. There are several mini bundt cakes at Jambeto's bakery, as well as sheet cakes. They also have a savoury selection of Philipino foods as well. I tried the pineapple upside down cake at Jambetos, but I thought it was just okay. I asked the young girl at the front, if the cake was made from natural butter. She told me that they use shortening. I wasn't too fond of the fact that the baked items are made from vegetable shortening. My friend had enjoyed his Halo Halo icecream drink though. He liked the flavours and colors of the beverage, but I thought it was a bit heavy. I most likely wont be frequenting again.. but if you're into this type of cuisine, maybe you'll like it.
