Sara's full firsthand review

It was my first time ever visiting the Rodeo. I knew it really wasn't my thing and boy was I correct. My friends and I visited over the weekend on a Sunday afternoon. It happened to be a cool and cloudy day. Thankfully. We were comfortably dressed but our feet were aching after a long day. The Rodeo was jam packed on the weekend. The petting zoo had obnoxious long lines and the food was mediocre at best. There was a concert going on but we didn't end up going. Didn't bother me too much as country music is not my cup of tea. Some of my friends went on the rides. The carnival area was very loud. So much noise emitting from each ride. The main thing is that my friends enjoyed and that I was in good company. I did like the boutiques and shopping display inside the nrg center. Would I ever go back again? Most likely not. But it was something out of the ordinary and made for good times with friends. It was a unique cultural experience. I suggest visiting the Rodeo early during the weekday.. due to the parking issues. Unless theres a specific concert/event that you want to attend.

What we tried

Sara tried tea. Some parts worked well, while others kept the visit from feeling like a standout experience.
