So ive known about Bombay Pizza Company from the very beginning, when they opened their original location in downtown Houston. I remember even having stepped inside their main location and having browsed throughout their menu. At the time I wasn't hungry, but I knew that I wanted to try the place out in the near future. That never happened due to the distance and proximity of the location.. Fast forward two years later, and they opened up a second location in Sugar Land. I finally got to try this place out last week and absolutely loved it. In fact, I ate there twice last week and tried out different foods during my stay. I wont go much into detail, but all I can say is that these folks mastered the art of fusion cuisine very well. I have enjoyed the pizzas, kati rolls, and their veggie burger. The spices and flavours infused within the food were just right. I made the right decision of having ordered the sweet potato fries with my veggie burger. The fries had a subtle hint of spice which went well with the natural taste of the sweet potato. A spicy ketchup relish was served along with these fries which I enjoyed. I'm not much of a french fry person, but these were darn good! The veggie burger was bursting with spices and flavor. It was quite strong actually, and I do believe that horseradish must have been mixed in that burger. I like how their is a wide selection of items to choose from the menu, but there isnt too much going on, which is a good thing. The pizzas are nice and crispy, and the kati rolls are huge and filling. I ordered the tandoori paneer roll, as well as the tandoori shrimp roll, and enjoyed both. The naan wrapped around these rolls were fresh and crispy. A small side of chutney is served with these rolls which give them extra flavour. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this casual pizza restaurant. The place was crowded with families coming in and out. With a warm and friendly environment, mixed in with decent prices, I'm not surprised that this place was packed. I can only hope the best for this restaurant. I'll definitely be visiting again soon, the location is so convenient.
