Dumpling And Noodle House – Casual Chinese Comfort Food on the Las Vegas Strip

Sep 19
4 min read

Finding comforting, piping hot Asian food on the Las Vegas Strip can feel like a challenge when fast food chains dominate the scene. Dumpling And Noodle House offers a simple alternative. It is a small, no frills Chinese restaurant that delivers hot meals without the typical Strip chaos.

It may look a little lonely and run down from the outside, but inside you are greeted warmly and served classic noodle house style dishes in a relaxed setting.

If you are searching for:

  • Chinese food on the Las Vegas Strip

  • Noodle houses in Las Vegas

  • Casual Asian restaurants in Vegas

  • Scallion pancakes Las Vegas

  • Late night Chinese food on the Strip

Dumpling And Noodle House is a practical option to consider.

Why You Might Like It

  • Piping hot made to order dishes

  • Friendly and welcoming service

  • Large and varied menu

  • Classic comfort items like scallion pancakes

  • A quieter alternative to crowded fast food spots

The Atmosphere

This is a small hole in the wall style restaurant. It feels modest and a bit worn, but the service is warm and welcoming. When I visited, there were not many people inside, which made for a calm and relaxed meal.

If you are looking for flashy décor or upscale dining, this is not that. If you want something simple and hot without the Strip overload, it works.

What I Ordered

Crispy Scallion Pancakes

The highlight of the meal.

They arrived crisp, hot, and freshly prepared. Scallion pancakes have always been a favorite of mine, and these delivered on texture and flavor. Flaky on the outside and soft inside, they were satisfying and well executed.

Pad Thai with Tofu

Ordering pad thai at a Chinese restaurant is always a bit of a gamble. The flavor was not fully authentic, but it still tasted fresh.

The tofu was soft with a slight crisp on the edges, and the noodles were tender. It was decent overall, though not something I would go out of my way for.

Chinese Style Hot Milk Tea

Unfortunately, this was the weakest part of the meal. As someone who enjoys milk tea, this version did not deliver the flavor I was craving. It missed the mark entirely.

Overall Impression

Dumpling And Noodle House is not the best food on the Strip, but it is far from awful. It offers hot, comforting dishes when you want to avoid standard fast food options.

The scallion pancakes stand out as the safest and strongest choice. Other menu items may vary, but the restaurant provides a warm meal without all the junk.

Review

Sara I. (Mar 29, 2016):

“This place is not bad.. Rather its a little hole in the wall spot to visit when in the Vegas Strip. I'm not too fond of fast-food, and Vegas seems to be cluttered with those sort of options. I enjoy piping hot Asian food, and that is what I found in this little Chinese restaurant. It seems a bit lonely and run down. But once you enter, you're greeted warmly by the servers. Their werent that many people inside, but it didnt really matter to me. I went ahead and ordered the crispy scallion pancakes, hot milk tea, and pad thai with tofu. The best item from my order was the scallion pancakes. They were crisp, hot and fresh. It's more of an appetizer item, but scallion pancakes have always been a favorite of mine so I was pleased by their appeal and flavor. I already knew that ordering pad thai at a Chinese restaurant was not the best idea, but luckily it wasnt too bad. The flavor was not authentic, but it still tasted fresh. The tofu was soft and crisp, and the noodles were tender. I would give it 3 stars. The Chinese style hot milk tea did not taste good at all! I would give that beverage a 1 star. I am a big fan of milk tea, but this drink did not deliver the taste that i was craving. They also have tapioca here, but im glad I did not order that. I'm not too sure if it would have been any good. Anyway, the menu is quite large. I was hoping their would be a vegetarian option for dumplings, but their wasnt. This place doesnt have the best food on the strip, but its not awful either. I would maybe try other items off the menu if I were to visit again. Nothing to write home about. Just hot food without all the junk.”
